Mama's got a brand new blog...

Okay, so the snow has melted, the two historically crappiest months of the year, January and February, have come and gone and I'm ready to come out of hiding. I feel like I've pretty much been hibernating since the end of 2011 and, like the family of bears I watched on the BBC series Earth's Great Mysteries, I'm ready to come out of my cave and make my way down a large hill with three cubs, hoping we survive the wild as we try to find a water source full of fish. Okay, so maybe not EXACTLY like the series, but you get the idea.

I want to start blogging again. I figure why the hell not. If that chick Rebecca Black can become an overnight household name, albeit a household name followed by laughter and shock, I can re-inject myself into the mainstream through the blogosphere. My goal... to entertain whomever shall pass through this place with the musings of the amusing and bemusing Gimp. For those who aren't privvy, Gimp has kind of become my alter ego in a way. If you don't know the Gimp live and in person, I hope one day you will... for you will love it. And yes, I meant to write IT.

My hope... is that once a day, I will take the time out of my busy TV viewing schedule to write a little something ... the topic.... every day will bring something new. If you know me well, you know stupid and crazy crap happens to me fairly regularly and I like to share that crap with you. The word crap just made me think of those BBC bears again. I find that, like the cardinal improv rule, if you say yes to experiencing some wacky situation, it opens itself up to you and you always have a good story. Dear reader(s)... I hope to share that insanity with you. Whatever the case may be, my ultimate goal is to make you laugh once a day. Tall order. Or let you know about something you may have not known of... i.e. Did you know about the SciFi series "An Idiot Abroad?" If you do, holla. If you don't, you should. Check it.

Alright kids. That's all for today... just a welcome to all who want to read. Here's hoping it's more than just my mother. If you likey, joiny. Come play with me.

Hugs and kisses,

The Proprietor.

  1. 2010... not 2011... but I hope that's not foreshadowing. Ugh.
